Bags.....

I had the cutest bags made awhile back and I'm finally getting to blog about them!! We gave one as a birthday gift, so I didn't want to spoil the surprise!! =) The girl that made these does a great job! I ordered 2 and mom ordered 3 and they were all amazing and all unique in their own little way. I can't wait to order some more things from her!! =) Here is the bag I ordered for Miss Gracie...of course I knew Josh would just love the duck on it and the camo design on the back... ahh too cute! =)


Gracie wanted to get Miss Taylor one for her first birthday as well. Here is Taylor's. I LOVE hers as well.

2 Months

2 MONTHS.... my baby girl is 2 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!! We are having soo much fun with her. She is starting to notice more things and sure does love her momma!! (makes me feel soo good!!)


I have better pictures (and videos) on my camera, but I haven't uploaded them yet, so these will have to do for now.


I bought some outfits for Gracie to wear this past week and I couldn't get over that I was buying 3 Month onesies!!! I am soo used to her wearing newborns, which she can still wear some of!!

We weighed her this weekend and she was 11lbs 9ozs!! Chunk!!! We go to the dr Thursday for our 2 month shots =( and I am anxious to see how much she weighs then. She definitely loves her food and does not miss a feeding...even at night!!! It is hard on this Momma getting up 2 times during the night then working all day. I am hoping she starts sleeping more soon!!! I have been up since 3:30 this morning and its going to make for a long long day. I wouldn't have it any other way though!! =)


She has become a fan of the TV here lately. It amazes me how tv can entertain them at such a young age!! Ohh goodness I already have some of the songs from the shows on Nick Jr stuck in my head! lol!!

Say hello to....

Well today was my first day back at work. Of course I cried when I woke up this morning, while I was putting on my makeup, when I dropped her off and I teared up a few times at work when people asked me about my baby girl. It has gotten better.. now i am just watching the clock for 5pm! :) I called to check on her around 10:30 and she was still asleep from when I dropped her off at 7:45. Stinker!!

Of course we had to have a photo shoot this morning for our first day at the sitters. Her shirt says..."Say hello to.... Ms Wonderful"
I couldn't agree with that anymore!! :)

Time flies....

Where has the time gone??? I go back to work Wednesday. It is going to be hard to leave my baby girl, but I know she'll be in good hands. These past 8 weeks have completely FLOWN by. Gracie is growing soo much every day.

We came back to Mom and Dads on Tuesday to help mom out with dad. It has been soo nice getting to spend lots of time with them over the past couple of months. I am really going to miss seeing them so much. I am working on getting Josh to move us to Arkansas.... its 50/50 now, so hopefully in the next couple of years we'll make the move and be closer to them!

Dad is doing much better and I know Gracie being here has helped him alot. He can't get around that well, so unless hes at therapy, the majority of his time is spent in bed. I'll walk past his room and he'll ask where she is. If shes awake he wants me to bring her in and he'll talk to her and hold her little hand. Of course when she smiles at him it just makes his day. She is smiling more and more and trying her hardest to get a laugh out. You can tell shes trying to get it out, but its not coming just yet! She does let out some cute squeals!!!

Here is a video I recorded Tuesday morning before we left for Heber. She LOVES her changing table! My friend Sarah got us the cutest canvas and it hangs over her changing table. It catches her eye as soon as we lay her on the changing pad! Excuse the baby talk...that's the majority of the way I talk these days! HAHA

Shes always soo alert when shes awake and those eyes are always wide open! She doesn't want to miss out on a thing and hates not being able to look around!

I got the rest of our pictures back from Gracie's 4 week photo shoot. Micheal did such a great job, as always. We are using some for Christmas gifts, cause you know everyone in my family will love pictures of my baby girl. (at least I hope so! haha!!) I'll upload some that I'm not using... and i'll post the others after Christmas.

Be thinking of me on Wednesday morning. I am anxious to get back to work and get our daily routine started up, but I'm also sad about leaving my baby girl. (I'm tearing up just typing about it!) I am so glad we found someone for her to stay with and she doesn't have to go to a daycare just yet. She will be staying with our friend, part time, that has a little girl that's 6 weeks older than Gracie, so they are going to become the best of friends and Josh is going to keep her a couple days a week as well. It makes me feel more at ease knowing shes going to be in good hands and will get more one on one attention.
